Shared Workspace includes an expanding range of online transactions
and services which can promote more efficient processes within your
organisation as well as your interface with BT.
Consolidated Order Placement features are available for PSTN, ISDN,
Kilostream, Megastream, Analogue Private Circuits and Customer Premises
Equipment. Customers with BT Cellnet corporate contracts can also
order mobile products. Automated Order and Problem Status information
can be viewed directly, as can BT's consolidated billing service -
OneBill - for appropriate customers.
N.B. Not all services are currently available to all customers.
Online status features have reduced time delays and inaccuracies associated
with the chain from end users to internal comms groups to BT and back
again. Internal comms teams can now get directly to the same info
BT people use and so are able to respond to end user queries directly.
Access can even be given directly to other parts of the organisation,
such as project teams, for management of their services directly.
The online view of OneBill has been recognised to add usability to
the value of BT's consolidated billing. Services such as OneBill are
now available across organisations for analysis, rather than sitting
as a large unopened pile of envelopes in an individual in-tray!
Using Shared Workspace presents real potential to make great efficiency
and cost savings by directly interacting with BT systems. We aim to
