Please note that this information should be read in conjunction with the Conditions for BT Business Symmetric Broadband Service. |
BT Business Symmetric Broadband is a point to multipoint radio based Fixed Wireless Access that provides a means of coverage over areas that are not within reach of DSL Broadband. The `always on' Service is independent of telephony and therefore the Customer's telephone line is not used. |
The Symmetric Broadband Service is an 'always on' internet access for business that offers symmetric 2Mbps service with a contention ratio of 10:1. |
The product is only available in selected areas across Lincolnshire. |
At each Customer premises, a trained technician will need to erect a small external antenna. Planning permission is not normally required as the antenna falls within the existing definition of `small antenna'. Where planning permission is required, this will be managed by BT. |
As part of the Service, Customers will be entitled to one static IP address included in the tariff. Customers with BT Business Symmetric have the option of ordering a total of 5 or 13 Static IP addresses for an additional charge. |
Installation and provision of the Service will require a Customer site engineering visit. |
