Please note that this information should be read in conjunction with the Conditions for BT Business Symmetric Broadband Service.

BT Business Symmetric Broadband is a point to multipoint radio based Fixed Wireless Access that provides a means of coverage over areas that are not within reach of DSL Broadband. The `always on' Service is independent of telephony and therefore the Customer's telephone line is not used.

The Symmetric Broadband Service is an 'always on' internet access for business that offers symmetric 2Mbps service with a contention ratio of 10:1.

The product is only available in selected areas across Lincolnshire.

At each Customer premises, a trained technician will need to erect a small external antenna. Planning permission is not normally required as the antenna falls within the existing definition of `small antenna'. Where planning permission is required, this will be managed by BT.

As part of the Service, Customers will be entitled to one static IP address included in the tariff. Customers with BT Business Symmetric have the option of ordering a total of 5 or 13 Static IP addresses for an additional charge.

Installation and provision of the Service will require a Customer site engineering visit.
