International Freedom is an opt-in package which provides calls to fixed lines in 36 destinations at zero pence per minute for the first hour of each call (other conditions apply), plus further special pence per minute rates for all other international destinations. These additional special rates give the same benefits as International Saver (formerly known as BT Together International Option) on International destinations not included at the zero rate in International Freedom. It is available only to residential customers with a Calling Plan in this Section. The option, available on PSTN lines, is charged on a per account basis. The fee is in addition to the relevant Calling Plan fee.

Eligibility

The option is available on a per account basis (where all lines on the account are at a single address) to all residential customers with one of the following Calling Plan options in this Section: Unlimited Weekend Plan,Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan ,Unlimited Anytime Plan, BT Together - Local Calls Option, BT Working Together and BT Working Together - Talk, excluding customers who have:

- International Saver

- Light User Scheme

- BT Basic

- BT In Contact Plus (including Limited Outgoing Calls customers)

- Business Lines

- Lines not provided by BT

- Public Payphone Lines

- Payphone Lines rented at the concessionary rate

- Out of Area Lines

- Exchange Lines provided at non served premises

- Service Provider Calls & Access

- ISDN Lines

- Telepoint

- Temporary lines

Pricing Information

PSTN LInes

The fee for the option is £12.76exc. VAT ( £15.00inc. VAT) per quarter. Calls to Fixed Lines in the countries listed in Table 1 are charged at zero pence per minute for the first hour of each call. The prices for minutes after the first hour of each call to fixed lines, and applicable throughout the duration for calls to mobiles in these countries are also shown in Table 1.

The prices in Table 1 for calls to mobiles apply only for mobiles based in the country shown (for number ranges see Section 2 Part 17). They do not apply to mobiles from other countries (including the UK) which may be operating on a roaming basis. Calls to UK mobiles abroad are charged at the mobile rates applicable in the Calling Plans in this Section (e.g. see Table 6 within Part 1of this Section). Calls to mobiles from other countries not covered by International Freedom are charged at the International call prices for calls to mobiles in International Saver(see Part 9 of this Section).

The call prices in Table 1 apply during the Day, Evening and Weekend periods. Calls to countries other than those covered by the rented International Freedom option will be charged at the International Saver call prices (see Table 1, within Part 9 of this Section).

The call prices in Table 1 will be subject to further discount (on eligible nominated numbers - see calling circle product rules) by Friends & Family / Friends & Family Overseas or Friends & Family Auto Update.

International Freedom call prices will not apply to International 64k data calls which will be charged at Standard rates.

Customers with 2 or more PSTN lines on the same account will be able to take the option: they will receive the International Freedom rates for all listed countries on all lines.

Conditions

Service is provided under the conditions for BT Telephony Service and the additional conditions set out below;-

1. A minimum term of 1 month will apply. This means the full charge for 1 month’s service will apply if the International Freedom option is ceased within the first month, or the associated eligible Calling Plan in this Section is ceased and another eligible Calling Plan is not taken.

2. The zero pence per minute rates available within International Freedom are intended for voice calls only to the destinations set out in Table 1 and apply to the first hour of the call (after which time, the prices specified in Table 1 will apply). To avoid these charges customers must redial after an hour.

3. BT may withdraw the International Freedom option (with 30 days notice, or immediately where we feel your use is extremely excessive) if you exceed 600 minutes per month. If the International Freedom option is terminated by BT because of excessive use by you, you may not return to this product for a period of 12 months.

4. Friends & Family, Friends & Family Overseas and Friends & Family Auto Update discounts will apply as normal to the non-zero International Freedom prices.
