Part 2:Basic International Call Charges

Subpart 1:Direct Dialled Calls

These prices apply for direct dialled calls from standard Business telephone lines and from Payphone lines when no discount schemes are applicable. Public Payphone calls are excluded. Prices specific to Residential packages appear in Section 3 , Part 1, except in the following circumstances where prices in this Section apply.

For calls described below, the following daytime, evening & night-time and weekend definitions apply.

RESIDENTIAL LINES

  • daytime - Mon-Fri 6am - 6pm
  • evenings & night-time - Mon-Fri before 6am & after 6pm.
  • weekend - All Day Sat & Sun.

PAYPHONE LINES

  • daytime - Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm
  • evenings & night-time - Mon-Fri before 8am & after 6pm.
  • weekend - All Day Sat & Sun.

Basic International Call Charges to Mobile Telephones

IDD calls to some mobile telephones will be charged at 30.00p (ex VAT)/35.25p(inc VAT) per minute more than the equivalent IDD calls to fixed telephones. Full details of the destinations and number ranges to which this applies are shown at Section 2 Part 17

Conditions

Service is provided under BT's Terms & Conditions for Business Service or BT's terms and conditions for residential service as appropriate.

Additional Information (Residential. Payphone and Business Lines)

Call durations are measured up to the whole second and the call charge is rounded up to half of a penny.

Calls from Northern Ireland to fixed telephones in the Republic of Ireland will be charged at the appropriate Inland rate. Calls from Northern Ireland to mobile telephones registered in the Republic of Ireland will be charged at the same rate as calls from the rest of the United Kingdom to mobile telephones registered in the Republic of Ireland.
